Bruce Cook was the Headmaster of The Southport School, an Anglican independent boys’ boarding and day school on the Gold Coast, for 16 years. He has taught at schools in Australia, the UK, and the USA.
He has had a lifelong interest in wildlife and the environment, and has been a member of the Board of Management of Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary (where he is also an active volunteer) since 2008. He is the Founding Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital Foundation.

Manny is the Chairman and CIO of investment house EC Pohl & Co and has served on the boards of several major corporations in his native South Africa and adopted home Australia. He is currently a director of Flagship Investments Limited, Athelney Trust plc, Global Masters Limited and Barrack Street Investments Limited.
He has over 30 years of investment experience and his engineering background gives him a methodical and disciplined approach to his role as a director.
Manny holds Engineering and MBA degrees from the University of Witwatersrand and a doctorate in Business Administration (Economics) from Potchefstroom University in South Africa.

Robert Thomasson established the first Vetcall veterinary clinic in Burleigh Heads in 1976. Vetcall has since expanded to several more locations including hospitals and surgeries at Ashmore, Robina and Mudgeeraba on the Gold Coast.

Darrell Brown is a consultant to Burling Brown & Partners Pty Ltd, Architects, a company which he co-founded in 1972 at Southport. Projects include high-rise residential buildings on the Gold Coast and in Darwin, government and private schools, commercial and institutional buildings.
He has been Chair of many school committees including the T.S.S. Foundation, St. Margaret’s Planning & Building Committee, Past President & District Secretary of Rotary and the incoming Rotary District Governor for District 9640 in 2017-18.

Marion Charlton is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Gold Coast Airport and has an impressive track record with over 30 years’ experience in the aviation industry both domestically and abroad.
Since joining Gold Coast Airport in 2004, Marion has held a variety of management roles including her most recent role of General Manager Commercial and Terminals, during which she oversaw the last significant Gold Coast Airport terminal redevelopment in 2010. Marion worked in the Atlanta and Sydney airports during the 1996 and 2000 Olympics and was in Glasgow during the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
She has also worked with the Irish Airport Authority. Marion has strong ties with many Gold Coast tourism organisations through her past work on the Tourism Advisory Board for Bond University. She is currently on the Advisory Board for Southern Cross University Business School and is now on the Board of Trustees for the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital Foundation. In 2008 she was awarded the International Woman’s Day Leadership Award for the Gold Coast.

Greg is currently the Chief Executive Officer of John Flynn Private Hospital. In this role he oversees the strategic and operational performance of the hospital.
Greg has considerable experience in hospital management of both public and private hospitals, spanning 28 years and across 4 states. Greg has held Executive positions in Port Lincoln and Clare District Hospitals, both public, in South Australia as well as Mildura Private Hospital in Victoria and a regional management role for Baringa Private Hospital (Coffs Harbour), Tamara Private Hospital (Tamworth) and Port Macquarie Private Hospital together with Coffs Harbour Day Surgery, Coolenberg Clinic and Hastings Day Surgery, all in New South Wales.
Having had experience managing health organisations both large and small public and private, he understands the importance of providing an excellent service to the community whilst maintaining a result oriented focus in accordance with business imperatives. Greg has performed various health, service and planning roles for the communities in which he has worked around Australia.

Murray has over 35 years of diverse national and international business experience. He commenced his career in Perth with a firm of Chartered Accountants before moving into a broad range of commercial and financial reporting positions with two major USA based mining companies. He founded the Australian and international retailer, Retail Food Group and developed their presence in seven overseas countries. He has maintained operating and board positions within a range of financial services, mining, commercial, environmental, academic, government, sporting businesses and organisations.
Murray’s current positions include, Chairman of Pacific Environment Limited, Chairman of Management Resource Solutions Plc, Chairman of BPS Technology Limited, Director Barrack St Investments, Councillor Southern Cross University, Trustee of Currumbin Wildlife Hospital Foundation and Member of the Gold Coast Light Rail Business Advisory Board.

Don Channer has over 30 years of experience as a director and advisor to numerous private and public companies, both nationally and internationally, distinguishing himself in recognizing opportunities and delivering successful outcomes.
A graduate in Civil Engineering, Mr Channer opened his own consulting engineering practice in the 1960’s later investing private capital and skills in major national and international contracting, property development and tourism with personal holdings in a diverse range of properties and businesses.
