Since opening, Currumbin Wildlife Hospital has grown to be one of the busiest wildlife hospitals in the world, admitting over 8000 animals each year. This makes Currumbin Wildlife Hospital dependent on the funds raised by Currumbin Wildlife Hospital Foundation in order to continue the vital work of caring for sick, injured and orphaned wildlife. Currumbin Wildlife Hospital is also very much dependent on community donations and support such as the latest team member-run initiative by Jupiter’s Gold Coast’s staff.
Recently the team at Jupiter’s Gold Coast have shown much-needed support to the Hospital by donating various items of comfort to keep the patients warm this winter. This initiative provided the Hospital with hundreds of towels, blankets and teddy bears which are sought after necessities within the Hospital.
Furthermore, this initiative could not have come at a better time, with more than 302 animals admitted this month alone.
Currumbin Wildlife Hospital Foundation is delighted to have established an ongoing partnership with Jupiter’s and highly value their continued support in helping to preserve our native wildlife for future generations to enjoy.
