Patient of the Week
This week’s patient is Cocoa.
He is a beautiful, juvenile Brahaminy Kite from Tallebudgera.
Unfortunately Brahaminy Kites are terrible parents and Cocoa was found on the ground as his mum and dad had no interest in taking care of him. He is currently living in our raptor rehabilitation facility with other young Brahaminy Kites who also had terrible parents!
They will live together and learn how to be Kites together and once we have fed them up and feel confident that they are ready, they will be released back into the wild.
The pictures below show Cocoa having a thorough examination under anaesthesia and the outcome is that he is in good health.
